Il a disput&eacute; 18 Grands Prix de Formule 1 de 1983 &agrave; 1984 (meilleur classement&nbsp;: une 6eme place aux GP d&#39;Etats-Unis Ouest en 1983&nbsp;; 1 point marqu&eacute;). En sports endurance, il a remport&eacute; les 24 Heures de Spa en 1990 et les 24 Heures du N&uuml;rburgring en 1992. Vainqueur de la c&eacute;l&egrave;bre course de supertourisme le &#39;Macau Guia&#39; en 1986. Il a &eacute;galement &eacute;t&eacute; champion d&#39;Allemagne de supertourisme en 1994 et 1998 et champion d&#39;Italie en 1989. Vice champion d&#39;Europe F2 en 1982.
